Indigo De Souza 

In addition to her solo tours, Indigo De Souza and her bandmates have opened for the likes of (Sandy) Alex G and recently announced a tour with Beach Bunny. Originally from North Carolina, the garage pop singer-songwriter has slowly been gaining a larger audience, amassing more than 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify since her 2018 EP debut, I Love My Mom. Her honest, deeply authentic, individual lyrics and sound are bound to garner her more well-earned popularity this year.

Dermot Kennedy 

This songwriter got his start playing music in small rooms in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland. As of 2019, he had a sold-out world tour. With a sound that could be described as a more intense, Ed Sheeran-like tenderness, this bold and brooding new voice is bound to enter the mainstream soon.

Her classic folk and R&B sound is combined with electronic embellishments, creating a unique, almost futuristic, style.

This eccentric Philadelphian is the most inventive contemporary R&B rapper available to stream. Since her debut in 2018 with the visual album Whack World, considered a huge success, she has appeared on songs with stars like Melanie Martinez and Beyoncé, her song “Pretty Ugly” even appearing as theme song of SNL cast member Aidy Bryant’s show Shrill. This singer’s unconventional take on current rap and her upcoming projects are sure to skyrocket her to popular culture this year.
