Hailing from Walnut Creek, California, The Story So Far have been a punk band to know since its creation. Paying homage to New Found Glory’s song, “The Story So Far” the punk rockers formed in 2007. Signed to Pure Noise Records and represented by Coda Music Agency, the five-piece consists of Parker Cannon on vocals, Kevin Geyer on lead guitar and keyboard, Ryan Torf on the drums, Kelen Capener on the bass guitar and Will Levy on rhythm guitar. Their debut album, Under Soil and Dirt, debuted in 2011 with the fan favorite, “Quicksand”.  A year before, the band had released two EP’s, While You Were Sleeping and Split With Maker.

In 2013, The Story So Far began to take off. On March 26th of that year, their sophomore album, What You Don’t See, was released with a debut spot of 46 on the Billboard 200. Later that year on June 18th, the band released a two song EP The Story So Far / Stick to Your Guns - EP, which contained perhaps the band’s most successful song thus far, “Clairvoyant”. This landed The Story So Far a prominent spot during 2014’s Vans Warped Tour. In 2015, the band released their self-titled album.

On September 21st, 2018, The Story So Far released their fourth studio album, Proper Dose. With songs such as the lead single, “Out of It”, as well as punk ballad, “Take Me As You Please”, the album has been received quite well. The band has been supporting the album on their Proper Dose Tour with help from Turnover, Citizen and Movements. Unfortunately, The Story So Far is on the international leg of the tour. Regardless, get your “Proper Dose” with their Spotify playlist below.
