KNOXVILLE - Multiple sources are confirming that Lane Shuler and Jonathan “Courageous” Clark, collectively known as I.N.K. are returning to the college market.

The duo took the college market by storm in 2013 with their debut at NACA Mid America, and APCA Nationals shortly after that.  After four years of a whirlwind of national touring, the duo abruptly announced their retirement at the end of 2016 so they could focus on building other aspects of their careers.

Clark left to focus on his role as Executive Support Manager for Carpetbag Theatre, an ensemble theatre company whose mission is to “give artistic voice to the issues and dreams of people who have been silenced by racism, classism, sexism, ageism, homophobia and other forms of oppression.”

Shuler left to continue his involvement with the National Speakers Association, and to further develop his real estate career in Tennessee.

I.N.K. could not be reached for comment at this time, and an exact time table for their return is unknown.

UPDATE, 9:35 AM

It has been confirmed that I.N.K. has signed with Neon Entertainment, and is available for live poetry and workshop bookings effective immediately. More information can be found at https://www.neon-entertainment.com/spoken-word-ink/
