The Daily Collegian: Comedian Chris D'Elia performs for Penn State at Alumni Hall

Last Friday night, comedian Chris D’Elia came to Penn State to perform his stand-up routine in the HUB-Robeson Center.

D’Elia released his newest stand-up special, “Man on Fire,” earlier this year, but the crowd was surprised when the announcement came that the night’s entertainment would be made up of entirely new material.

Not only did D’Elia use new material, but he also began the show with over 15 minutes of crowd work, simply bouncing off the crowd’s energy with improvised jokes.

He especially roasted two audience members, Connor and Brad, for a “Five Guys” shirt and an awkward wave, respectively...
